Our Roots
It all started with a barn find of old hand-drawn fire district maps from the 1940s and 1950s. When this discarded treasure trove fell into the hands of a life-long collector with a love of all things retro, the Vintage Routes was born.
The Vintage Routes is a curator of metro, industrial, corporate and lake culture from the 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s. We offer vintage map reproductions, apparel, artwork and memorabilia.
Authentic Originals
In the days before GPS, maps were carefully charted, then painstakingly hand-drawn, accurate down to the fire hydrant. Each Vintage Routes city and lake map is authentic, sourced from original collections. No cheap knock-offs.
Repectful Restoration
After being sourced, the originals are professionally scanned, then carefully restored to maintain the historical integrity of the original. No shortcuts.
Expert Printing
The same level of craft extends to the printing of our maps, whether it’s on canvas or an achival paper print. The latest print technologies and highest-quality materials are used to ensure durability and longevity. No compromises.
